Rosette took another slow, careful, overdramatic sip before announcing, "Punch."

Whatever it was spiked with might have been acting pretty quickly.

John sipped his. "It does taste like punch. That's what I love about you," he said solemnly. "You're smart." His straight face had an odd twitchy at the corners of his mouth, as if something was trying to break free.
