Jaina still wasn't exactly sure why she had this job, except it got the owner to shut up. And upon finding out there was going to be a wedding reception here (and hey, didn't she meet Deadpool? she had no idea he was married), she really wasn't happy. Regardless, she set up the best she could, considering she'd never seen what a party here was supposed to look like.

She was trying to think of it in terms like "If this doesn't turn me to the dark side, I'm doing pretty good."

She chuckled. "It does that, yes. Time works strangely here. As does everything else really."

"It wouldn't be a bad place to hide out from someone," said Mary absentmindedly. "So, you did the decorations? I really like it," she commented as she looked around.

An internal eyebrow was raised at the comment but Aly just smiled. "Thank you very much, I did indeed," Aly said. "Have you met Wade and Arashi? I think this is right up their alley."

"No, I haven't met the happy couple. I'm still trying to get out there and meet all the locals, but a wedding is the perfect place to do that. You must be a very good friend of theirs to go all out for their wedding reception like this," said Mary with her sweet, innocent smile.

"They're quite close friends, yes," Aly said. "And there's something about Wade that makes you want to do this to him. You'll understand when he arrives."

"I guess I'll have to see," said Mary. "What about you? What do you do here in Fandom besides planning weddings?"

"I'm a teacher up at the school," Aly said easily. "Been here for almost a year now."
