Caritas, Wednesday evening

Jaina still wasn't exactly sure why she had this job, except it got the owner to shut up. And upon finding out there was going to be a wedding reception here (and hey, didn't she meet Deadpool? she had no idea he was married), she really wasn't happy. Regardless, she set up the best she could, considering she'd never seen what a party here was supposed to look like.

She was trying to think of it in terms like "If this doesn't turn me to the dark side, I'm doing pretty good."

Jaina had asked the zombies to only play nice, romantic music. Of course, she wasn't sure what qualified as nice, romantic music here, but she figured they knew better than she did.

The Bar

She didn't know how to mix drinks, but if someone (or Tino) told her, she could manage. Also, she was really good at just pouring things into glasses and saying "Here."

Tino was there if you just wanted to take the easy way out.

Kenpachi had come in for his usual drink, with Yachiru, because he had class tomorrow which meant he planned on drinking a lot. "Bottle of te--"

He was momentarily distracted by all the...crap in the lounge. "Hell. Another party at this place? Yachiru, let's go to the other bar."

"No, Ken-chan! We can't go there!"

"Still haven't told me why not."

"Becaaaause!"

He shook his head and turned his attention back to the bartender. "Bottle of tequila, please."

Aravis was dressed prettily for the party, and, more importantly, getting over a hell of a headache. So she was smart. "Good evening, Jaina. I need something lacking alcohol. What would you recommend?"

"Hi," Arashi said sheepishly. "Can I get a large glass of Sake please?"

Hopefully people would think it was just water.

"Sake," she repeated, and turned around to look for the bottle.

After a minute, Tino tapped her on the shoulder with the bottle. With a grateful little smile that he didn't even see, Jaina got a large glass to pour the sake. "There you go."

Anakin walked into the bar and blinked--a lot--when he saw who was behind the bar.

He slid onto a barstool and gave Jaina a polite nod--no smile. "Have you located the Corellian whiskey yet?" he asked.

Arashi nodded to Anakin with a small distracted smile, recognizing him from the alien invasion.

Arashi was still in his ANBU (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a273/Gryffie/Yondaime/aitems05.jpg) outfit from class earlier -sans mask and sword- and was seriously debating on taking a chance to sneak out.

The party and well wishers didn't really bug him.

It was the pictures of him in a dress that made Arashi want to be violent.

Aly, dragging Josh with her, was there early to make sure her revenge party was set up.

There were favours scattered over the tables in the lounge including cards with pictures of the Venetian themed wedding. Oh yes, Deadpool in big puffy shirts and Arashi in an Italian Renaissance dress. There were playing cards with their names and the dates, whistles, little dove sculptures. It looked, a bit, like a wedding planner had thrown up in the lounge.

She was proud of the effect.
