Jaina still wasn't exactly sure why she had this job, except it got the owner to shut up. And upon finding out there was going to be a wedding reception here (and hey, didn't she meet Deadpool? she had no idea he was married), she really wasn't happy. Regardless, she set up the best she could, considering she'd never seen what a party here was supposed to look like.

She was trying to think of it in terms like "If this doesn't turn me to the dark side, I'm doing pretty good."

"...no." He narrowed his eyes. "We fought once officially and the other time was him deciding to tackle me in the mud while I was working."

Aly tried not to snicker. She really, really did. "Hmmm. The fight may have been a bit more uneven than you were anticipating then."

"He cheated then," Fraser declared because that made sense to him, really. "He did compliment your skills before tackling me though."

"Aww, that was sweet," she said, grinning. "Maybe I can talk him into giving me back that knife now."

She looked around at the party decorations. "Or maybe not."

"Yes, I think you can probably forget about getting anything back from him after this," he said, laughing. "He's not going to send students to throw bombs at you for this, will he?"

"I'd be greatly disappointed if he did," she replied. "It's already been done. The essence of a good prank war involves ingenuity."

"Again, something I'm not very informed on," he said. "The RCMP tended to frown on that though that didn't always stop Ray. You really stabbed him?"

"I can teach you, young grasshopper," she teased, grinned. "And yes, a few times. Even though he kept the first knife I threw at him."

Yes, she pouted. Even though she had been the one doing the stabbing.

"...how many times did you stab him?" Fraser asked.

"Three. But he got better."

"Remind me to never upset you," he said and laughed. "I don't heal quite that quickly and being stabbed hurts."

"I'm aware," she said with a smile. "And I wouldn't stab you. I only randomly stab people who heal immediately."

"I'd hope to not upset you to the point of stabbing, quick healing or not," he said with a nod. "You know, I would've never pegged you for a random stabber upon first meeting."

Aly looked shocked. "Random stabber! Why, Benton, you do wrong me too much!"

She grinned. "Besides we were five when we first met."

"What? It's a very bandit-y type name," he said, laughing. "I thought it fit. I could call you...Stably?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Nah, I don't think so."

"Tsk," he said, teasing. "Are you adverse to nicknames?"

"I quite like nicknames," she grinned. "But Stably? Surely you could do better."

"I might be out of practice," he said and then tapped his chin. "Florence the Flirt?"

Waaaaaaaaay out of practice.

Aly raised an eyebrow. "Florence?"

Yes, it was that part she was protesting, shush.

"It was only a second try," he protested. "I think calling you UST would confuse people."

"Unless you pronounced it as a word," she said thoughtfully. "And that would sound strange."

"I'm no good at this," he declared. "Professor can be your nickname."

She laughed. "I can cope with that as long as it's a nickname and not a title."

"Not one for titles?"
