Jaina still wasn't exactly sure why she had this job, except it got the owner to shut up. And upon finding out there was going to be a wedding reception here (and hey, didn't she meet Deadpool? she had no idea he was married), she really wasn't happy. Regardless, she set up the best she could, considering she'd never seen what a party here was supposed to look like.

She was trying to think of it in terms like "If this doesn't turn me to the dark side, I'm doing pretty good."

Johnny pocketed his cell phone. He just finished talking to Reed which he hadn't intended on doing. Johnny wanted to talk to Sue but Reed thinks he's cute sometimes and played around - he likes his sister blah blah blah, he's going to marry her one day blah blah blah... Still, Reed was better than Ben.The Thing with no ears.

Opening up the Photo Hut, Johnny sort of straightened anything that was out of place, or rather looked out of place. And he was sort of hoping Leo was going to show up. He wanted a batch of those brownies Dick was telling him about.

Photo Hut is open for business.

Trooper Station: Wednesday - All Day

Dale is going over the results of the forensic tests he requested on the evidence that Turtle Wexler had provided him.

After going over the results he made some *handwavy* calls to the school and then one more requesting an interview regarding what had happened last week.

In the meantime he chats with Ralph about the importance of treating yourself to a good cup of coffee at least twice a day.

With the Journal spread out over the counter, Turtle was leaning over it with a groan. "Okay, guys," she said to the stocks report, "you can stop falling any day now." That .78% in the Nasdaq was making her want to cry.

The church didn't seem to attract a lot of visitors, so Gabriel had decided that he could just as well stay there for a while, even if the pews were a bit uncomfortable. On his way back from that interesting chance meeting he'd had yesterday, he'd picked up a box of donuts, which saved him the trouble of going in search of breakfast. The need for eating all the time was beginning to annoy him.

But the fact that this place was home to others of his kind certainly bothered him more. It didn't seem big enough for all of them.

Movies in the Park, Wednesday (06/06)

Just before dusk, the temporary movie screen is set up. There's a large open area in front of it, where movie-goers can spread out blankets or set up lawn chairs. Some people are already gathered, picnicking while the sun sets.

[OOC: The movie begins at dusk, and the screen will be removed afterwards. OCD threads will be have been set up for your movie-going use. Anyone who needs the park for other purposes will find that the outdoor cinema takes up only a portion of the park, with plenty of space available for non-movie needs.]

Devil's Nest, Wednesday Night 6/6

Wednesdays really were a good day for Kabuto. Ninja-ing class, and then no classes until Monday. That, and he actually liked working at the bar. He had to enjoy it, to accept the second shift that Lucifer had offered.

But regardless, there he was, manning the bar and playing with chakra. And still wearing his ninja gear from class, because it was comfortable and he didn't feel like changing out of it.

The Devil's Nest was open, with a bored ninja behind the bar.
