Caritas, Wednesday evening

Jaina still wasn't exactly sure why she had this job, except it got the owner to shut up. And upon finding out there was going to be a wedding reception here (and hey, didn't she meet Deadpool? she had no idea he was married), she really wasn't happy. Regardless, she set up the best she could, considering she'd never seen what a party here was supposed to look like.

She was trying to think of it in terms like "If this doesn't turn me to the dark side, I'm doing pretty good."

"Bea Arthur would find you ugly," Fraser said, pulling out the big guns.

"BEA ARTHUR, GOOD SIR, WOULD NOT GIVE YOU THE TIME OF DAY!"

"PROBABLY NOT BECAUSE SHE'D BE TOO BUSY GAGGING AT YOU!"

"WOULD NOT! SHE'D BE TOO BUSY WANTING MY SEXY BODY AND MAKING YOU ALL JEALOUS BECAUSE YOU CAN NEVER FIND LOVE LIKE THAT!"

Pause.

"Oh crap, am I being written by Liefeld?"

"BEA ARTHUR HATES WADE WILSON! BEA ARTHUR HATES WADE WILSON!" Fraser exclaimed to anyone who might be listening.

Two could play at that game. "CONSTABLE FRASER IS NOT REALLY CANADIAN! IT'S A CLEVER RUSE TO BE POLITE AT YOU!"

"WADE WILSON IS A MARRIED MAN! MARRIED, TAKEN, ATTACHED, MAAAAAARRIED!"

Oh, it was on.

"FRASER IS WARM FOR MY FORM!"

Fraser glared.

"WADE WILSON IS WHIPPED!"

"DID EVERYONE HEAR THAT? HE WANTS TO WHIP ME!" He stuck his tongue out at Fraser. Damn mask. "CONSTABLE FRASER IS INTO SOME KINKY STUFF!"

"AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL IS THE TACKIEST SHOW EVER!" He didn't even know what that show was. He'd just heard it on the radio.

...well he had him there. But it was a fun tacky.

"THE ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE ARE A RELIC AND ARE INEFFECTIVE AS A POLICE FORCE IN MODERN TIMES!"

Fraser audibly gasped.

"WADE WILSON LIKES CELINE DION!"

Deadpool gave him a horrified look. "CONSTABLE FRASER PETITIONED THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT TO MAKE CELINE DION'S IMAGE INTO THE NEW CURRENCY OF CANADA!"

Fraser looked like he'd been slapped.

"WADE WILSON SLEPT WITH CELINE DION. ON PURPOSE!"

That was uncalled for.

"CONSTABLE FRASER HAS A RESTRAINING ORDER OUT AGAINST HIM FOR TRYING TO SLEEP WITH CELINE DION AND EVEN SHE WAS TOO REPULSED BY HIM."

Fraser narrowed his eyes. Stupid sanctuary spell.

"WADE WILSON LOVES...YANNI."

That? That was a gasp of horror.

"CONSTABLE FRASER WENT TO EVERY BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT IN CANADA."

"WADE WILSON SLEPT WITH KENNY G!" Again, Fraser has no idea who it is but he'd read the name somewhere.

"CONSTABLE FRASER HAS NAUGHTY DREAMS ABOUT MARGRET THATCHER!"

"WADE WILSON IS MARGARET THATCHER!"

Deadpool paused. "You have naughty dreams about me?"

Fraser actually had to cough to clear his throat since he'd been screaming for the last several minutes.

"No!" He shook his head. "No. I don't dream about you period."

"Admit it, I haunt your dreams."

"You're plenty frightening enough to haunt me but you don't," Fraser said. "My dreams are peaceful."
