Jaina still wasn't exactly sure why she had this job, except it got the owner to shut up. And upon finding out there was going to be a wedding reception here (and hey, didn't she meet Deadpool? she had no idea he was married), she really wasn't happy. Regardless, she set up the best she could, considering she'd never seen what a party here was supposed to look like.

She was trying to think of it in terms like "If this doesn't turn me to the dark side, I'm doing pretty good."

Aly smirked and hooked her arms around the back of his neck in a way that was not at all meant to rub more cake into his hair.

"And above all, we must not gross the students out," she said with a nod.

Josh dipped his head in for another kiss. "Well, just this once they'll have to get over it," he decided.

"I'm pretty sure they can handle it," she said, kissing him back. "I mean, compared to trolls and turning into children and such."

"And we are neither," Josh agreed, bumping noses with her. "Really, they should be more grateful."

"Exactly. Well, we were the second, but that was just that once and it's been a very long time since it happen." She looked up at him and grinned. "You have frosting on your nose."

Josh grinned. "So do you. Now we're one of those matching outfit couples. How high school."

She wrinkled the nose in question at him. "Do you think that's the first sign the of utter insanity? Is the school getting to us?"

"Never!" Josh declared. "It's only when we call each other up to coordinate that we have to worry."

"...if I ever do that, please check me for gremlin bites immediately," Aly said, appalled at the thought.

"Definitely," Josh said, giving her what he thought to be a Very Arch Look. "All over, even."

She laughed at him and leaned up to kiss him again. "Sugar's getting to your brain."

"Maybe a little," Josh admitted.

"It could be worse," she pointed out. "I could have gotten them a wedding ice cream sundae and we'd be covered in ice cream right now."

Josh had gone to a Happy Place.

Snickering she leaned up to kiss him.

"Chocolate sauce and girlfriend," Josh said. "I see no bad here."

"Next time I plan a prank wedding shower for two people very likely to start throwing the desert around, I shall remember that," Aly laughed.
