"Welcome back," Ghanima began, looking over the assorted company. "I'm pleased to see we didn't scare too many of you off by forcing introductions."

"Luckily for you, there aren't any enforced group bonding activities today. Only sparring."

"Sparring," Tyler concurred. "No talking. And, since we're huge now, more matches. You and you, you and you, you in the back and you trying to look too cool for this. Ghanima, pick the last six."

"You can talk to other people, of course, but only if you want to. And you should introduce yourself to your partner," she commented dryly. "Let's see. You, sir, with her. And you and you. Leto, with her."

"Everyone else, grab someone, grab some mat, and start punching."

"We're here if you need us," Tyler added, retreating back to observe.

Jak was still a little revved up from the race at the beach, so he showed up looking good and happy.

Especially when his name was called. Even if he hoped she wasn't wounded anymore...

It wasn't that Beka wasn't social. In a way she was, but crowds of people she didn't know for the most part remained intimidating. With Pounce at her heels, she found a spot to the side of the gym where she'd plenty of room to warm up.

Griff had missed last week and so he made a special effort to show this time and was glad of it, looking around to see what new people had been recruited.

Hayley was there, a little eager to learn more.

When her name was called, she was a little nervous. What if she lost? What if Azula saw her lose and she decided she wasn't worth her time anymore?

She'd have to fight extra hard.

Jennifer had shown up, ready to do whatever she could to help improve her skills.

She wanted to do a lot more than she had been, but she was still so afraid of transforming while at the club.

Triela had a new arm! That meant that the only sign that she'd been injured was the gauze patch over her eye. She was looking around a bit tensely. She really wanted to get into a fight, to make sure everything was back in proper working order.

Jaime had handwavily heard about Fight Club and decided to show up. Because he knew he still needed a lot of practice, even if it wasn't his favorite thing in the world to do.

Aeryn had missed last week, since trying to keep a schedule with a one-year-old was not always the easiest thing to do, but she was more than happy to be here today. It was downright scary how long it'd been since she hit someone, and this was cause for excitement. Don't judge.

The gym was different when packed with people looking for a fight. Dimitri stretched on a mat and was more disappointed not to hear a certain other name called than his own.

It'd been too long since Beka had sparred now and when her name wasn't called, she started looking around to see if someone else would be up for a spar. It wouldn't do to get rusty.
