Originally, this was going to be a much smaller event, but then Fandom had to be Fandom and Portalocity had to be Portalocity, and now Zoe was wondering if there would be enough food for everyone or if she'd have to get things from the local restaurants.

For the moment though, everything was set up nicely. There were tables and chairs set up with blue and gold tablecloths, each covered with glitter from years of use. There were balloons, streamers, and other slightly tasteful decorations, also covered in glitter from years of being stored with things that were also covered in glitter. Don't worry, no one had died from a glitter overdose yet.

Once the food was set out and the (non-tainted) punch was ready, it seemed like things were as good to go as they'd ever be. If things got too crowded, hopefully a fire marshal wasn't among the folks who had come back to town.

"Who let you come back, asshole?" Biff yelled, walking over to give Loki a massive hug. "I haven't thought about you in fucking years."

"Rude!" Loki drawled, returning the hug and shaking his head. "You should be thinking about me every fucking day even if I didn't mean to end up back here. Fucking Metatron."

He assumed.

"Well, a man can only cry so many tears," Biff said, laughing. "You mean you didn't miss this place?"

"Not as much as I miss being able to drink. I still haven't been given that honor back. God's holding a fucking grudge," Loki told him, shaking his head. "Did you miss this fucking place?"

"Not that much," Biff admitted, "though I'd forgotten just how ridiculously attractive the people are here."

"Did you end up in a place where the people are all ugly and smelly?" Loki wondered. "Are you living in a Wal-Mart now?"

"Worse," Biff said. "Peoria."

Loki winced sympathetically.

"Muskegon," he said, shaking his head. "Fucking Michigan."

"Why does God hate us so much," Biff lamented.

"Well, I know why God hates me," Loki said, sighing. "It's not so bad these days but I don't think I'm ever gonna get back into Heaven. Next time, I'll get send to like...Toledo or something."

"Maybe we can try for some middle American city that doesn't make us want to kill ourselves. Chicago? Or is that too fun?" Biff asked.

"I think that'd be too fun," he said, grimacing. "We'd have to go second tier. Something like...Topeka or Wilmington or something. I think those would fly."

"Let's check by the pizza," Biff said. "I can live with a lot, but not terrible pizza."

"Good call," Loki said agreeably. "Might call for some research. I don't know how the pizza in freaking Des Moines is. I'll look it up."

Later. He was lazy.

"That's where bacon comes from, so if it's close to okay, I'm fine with moving to Idaho."

Iowa, Biff.

Loki didn't even try and correct him. Just smirked.

"Hey, if you've got nothing going on after this, maybe we should head over, see what's the what. I doubt God minds visiting some shit town like Des Moines as long as I behave."

"Sounds like a plan," Biff said. "I have really nothing going on since Maggie got smart and left me."

"Don't worry, Biff, I'll probably leave you too but not before pizza," he said, patting Biff on the shoulder.

"You're all heart," Biff said, smirking back.
