Town Hall, Tuesday, November 13, Evening

Wyatt had been prepared for the sight of several flu victims, but he didn't expect it to be this bad. He counted at least 15 beds, and who knew if the people tending to them would get sick as well. He conferred briefly with Dr. Troy to find out what procedures they had in place, grabbed a mask, and got to work.

[ooc: Christian modded without permission! I will be AFK for an hour and a half or so, so clinic volunteers, please keep an eye on patients and new arrivals if you don't mind. "Yeah you are," Shawn said, a little wry chuckle. Not many healthy people left, it seemed. "Want me to help you out a bit there?" he offered.

"Okay?" Help would be greatly appreciated. "How? I... can't seem to even get warm and I'm totally h-hot. You know. Fire hot." He tried to snap his fingers but nothing. "It's like I'm out of... lighter fluid. And my head... it's throbbing."

Shawn shook his head, not really following any of that. Even if he was feeling his best, that probably still wouldn't have made sense to him.

He reached forward to hold Johnny's hand. "This'll just take a minute."

Johnny nodded though he was confused as to why he was holding his hand. He tried to remain still too even though he was shivering.

Shawn tried to concentrate on the healing, but that was really starting to get more difficult.

His hands shook with the exertion as he tried to heal Johnny. It was slow going, far slower than usual, and his head really was starting to feel fuzzy.

"Better?" he mumbled, letting go of Johnny's hands. It was at that point, he just sort of slumped over. Maybe trying to heal one more person hadn't been such a great plan.

Actually it felt like the pain in his head had eased somewhat, but he didn't think about that as Shawn slumped over. "Shawn? Oh man..." Johnny was too weak to try and lift him and get him help.

"Shawn? Come on man..." Johnny could not deal with death. He leaned over his cot and reached for Shawn's shoulder.

Summer, who had been keeping an eye on Shawn, rushed over when she saw him slump over. "Oh my god, Shawn! Wake up, please?"

She was trying very hard not to flail.

Shawn mumbled something vague, possibly attempting to say he was 'okay'. Obviously he isn't totally sure what 'okay' really entails right now.

"Summer... I'm sorry... I don't know what happened. He was t-trying to heal me..."

"It's not your fault," Summer assured Johnny before turning her attention back to Shawn. "Now it's time for you to get checked out by a doctor, okay?"

Yeah, that was an understatement.

Shawn still really not feeling up to a proper response, just sort of nodded in assent. He really should've just agreed to be checked out before.

It was Johnny's fault. He knew it. But at least Shawn wasn't dead. He did sort of nod.

"My superhero-ness has left me," he mumbled and rolled over, pulling his covers over his head.

Summer glanced over at Johnny to make sure he was as okay as he could be before helping Shawn over to the cot area.
