Town Hall, Tuesday, November 13, Evening

Wyatt had been prepared for the sight of several flu victims, but he didn't expect it to be this bad. He counted at least 15 beds, and who knew if the people tending to them would get sick as well. He conferred briefly with Dr. Troy to find out what procedures they had in place, grabbed a mask, and got to work.


[ooc: Christian modded without permission! I will be AFK for an hour and a half or so, so clinic volunteers, please keep an eye on patients and new arrivals if you don't mind. Anakin wasn't stumbling into the doorway or collapsing in a heap on the floor. He wasn't hacking up a lung or puking his guts out, or scratching feverishly at his arms.

The amount of energy he'd put into making sure that was the case wasn't something he was willing to discuss.

He stomped into the hall, telltale signs of fever apparent in his eyes and glared. "Can someone tell me that I'm fine so I can go yell at the overdramatic Jedi back in the dorms?" he demanded.

Someone was going to be a peach as a patient.

Mary had been helping out earlier in the day, but when she returned to Town Hall after a quick trip to the hotel, she wasn't looking very good. She'd gone very pale and was fighting the urge to scratch at the lacy rash that appeared on her arm. "I think I've got it, whatever it is that's going around."

Troy helped A.J. into the town hall, having cared for him as best he could during the day until deciding that, whether he wanted to or not, A.J. was coming in.

After puking (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1259072.html?thread=104602688#t104602688) during the movie, Rodney was sure he had this flu thing. He didn't.

He walked into the clinic on his own power, but was still glad for Charlie's moral support. When he realized that the number of sick had gotten so large, he was horrified.

Cassandra hadn't actually left since she had come in this morning when they moved patients from the clinic proper.

Of course she wasn't really able to offer much besides an extra pair of hands as she walked around trying to be useful. Apparently assassin training didn't cover plagues. Go figure.

Shawn hasn't left. He's looking rather worn out than he had been earlier. Upright, but... not seeming quite so healthy as he did.

Still, he's going to help out as many people as possible. He's very determined like that.

Karal had returned to the dorms long enough to shower, change, and grab something to eat, and now he was back, Altra glued to his side. (Not literally. That would just be weird.)

After spending the afternoon sulking meditating in his room, Luke made his way down to the hall of plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaague the congregation of sick people, donned a mask and gloves, and tried to find a way to make himself useful.

Summer had, by now, heard about the weird flu going around. She could have stayed in her room all night fretting, but she figured she'd be more useful if she volunteered to help instead.

Keeping in mind the things Aly had told them in class today, Inara arrived with tea, coffee, juice, and sandwiches for the clinic workers. Then she went to see if there were any blankets that needed changing, and refilling the water pitchers.

After Moist had told her to leave the Post Office Liz had returned to her room where she had been for the rest of the afternoon. By the evening though she had decided to go to the Town Hall and see if she could help out in some way.
