Town Hall, Tuesday, November 13, Evening

Wyatt had been prepared for the sight of several flu victims, but he didn't expect it to be this bad. He counted at least 15 beds, and who knew if the people tending to them would get sick as well. He conferred briefly with Dr. Troy to find out what procedures they had in place, grabbed a mask, and got to work.

"Hey," Lana said, still feeling a bit bewildered by how quickly she'd gotten sick again. She curled even further under the covers not able to stop her shivering.

Summer frowned, obviously concerned for Lana. "If there's anything I can do, let me know, okay?"

"I don't think anyone can," she said a little shakily. "Shawn healed me, but I'm sick again somehow. It doesn't make sense."

That was definitely alarming, but Summer didn't want to add to any fear Lana might already be feeling. "Maybe this is one of those twenty-four hour things and you'll feel better soon."

Lana glanced around. "I don't think this is a 24 hour thing, Summer," she said and shivered even more.

Summer was certain this wasn't a 24 hour thing. She wasn't sure what else to say right now, so she just sat there, keeping Lana company.

Lana reached out a hand from under the covers to touch Summer's hand. "I'm really starting to get scared, Summer," she said quietly.

Lana nodded, then went into another coughing jag that left her white and breathless. "Sorry. Maybe you don't want to be around me. Chris would be so worried if you got sick too."

She held on to Summer's hand and closed her eyes, hoping that would ease the pain in her head. "Hurts. I can't even think straight anymore."
