Fight Club, Atlas Gym, Sunday Evening

Tyler paced the gym barefoot as the fighters assembled. "Graduates," he began. "Students. Teachers. People who work in town. Miscellaneous others. Welcome to fight club."

"We're glad to have you here," Ghanima continued smoothly. "But if you're here, you fight. If, for some reason you cannot fight, we ask you stay towards the back. This isn't a place for voyeurism. If you want a show, go find a television."

"Ghanima, you speak my language," Tyler informed her., before turning back to the group. "Two people to a fight, fights end when someone goes limp or says stop. We are not trying to kill each other here; we're trying to train. We're trying to improve. Got questions, ask one of us." He looked at his cohort. "Anything else?"

"Rules are on the door," she said crisply, "but we're happy to answer any inquires you may have."

"Now go hit the mats or go home."

A peaceful graduation ceremony meant there was a Bel with pent up energy to get out. He was practically bouncing in glee.


[The demon is eager to fight. The mun must work in the morning and therefore is going to bed. But if you want to get rough and sweaty with the demon, ping away, and I'll pick it up later. :) ]

Reefside had been far too peaceful these days, and Conner had missed a good fight.

Firekeeper and Blind Seer hadn't gone to the graduation ceremony yesterday, mostly in an effort to avoid the crowd of unfamiliar people. So to see this space full of the aforementioned unfamiliar people? It was a little disconcerting.

And Shanie is absolutely frakking insane he was itching for a fight almost as much as Bel was, so Anders was hanging around too. He'd actually gotten kind of decent at this stuff since he'd been a student here.

Parker was highly amused that this had been revived; she remembered the original incarnation, and how helpful it had been that bad, mad silent weekend. And while she'd been keeping in shape, a real spar was a while back. Time for fuuuun.

A club? Just for fighting? Zero was so there. She even had her magic boots! (The boots were steel-toed. They weren't magic unless she was fighting trolls.) But she was small, bouncy, blonde, and pink. She couldn't be much of a threat. Right?

Tseng certainly wasn't surprised when his research on Reno's activities uncovered a meeting every Sunday night that involved pummelling the tar out of friends and perfect strangers alike. In fact, he would have been concerned had he found out otherwise. Reno tended to get dangerous without an outlet.

He'd mostly shown up today because he was curious about this outlet, himself. And if they expected him to fight while he was here, then so be it.

Reno noticed that Tseng was at the Fight Club, and promptly slunk over to the opposite side of the room. It wasn't anything personal, really. Hell, Tseng was a great guy... for a hard-ass with authority and all.

This was his last Fight Club before leaving the island. There were a lot of lasts, lately. If he looked a little twitchy while he mingled with the people there, that would be why.

It was Sunday, so of course, Savannah was here.

Except, she was mainly staying on the fringes of people - against the walls, truth be told.

While repression and not dealing at all with people that she knew and cared about leaving were very strong in her right now, so was the guilt about losing control in a fit of temper.

So right now, she was just watching. If she could see someone that wouldn't be in danger from her emotions and powers, then she might approach them to spar.
