April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

"That sounds... terrifying, actually," Bobby managed. And yet, part of him wished he'd been there.

...Look, nobody made superheroing their job because they were entirely sane, all right?

"But you got everyone back," he said, after a moment of floundering about what to say. "And hey," a smirk crossed his lips as he glanced over at Squall in his current goofy-grinning state. "Clearly some good came of all this, I mean, besides the saved-the-world part, which is awesome."

"It sucked," Rinoa said, succinctly. Well, it had. "But we all made it back okay. Even Squall, who got lost outside of time."

She glanced over at Squall, registered the goofy look on his face, and promptly blushed a brilliant shade of red. "Oh. Um. Y-yeah. He's ..."

Wow, it was obvious, wasn't it?

"We're all ... glad to be back?"

Yes. That was it. It had nothing to do with where Rinoa had woken up on Thursday.

Most people, they might have been at least somewhat thrown by the idea of being "lost outside of time". But Bobby was from the Marvelverse, where that sort of thing... well. It happened.

And Bobby was absolutely not going to laugh at the blushing. Yep. "You think he'd mind terribly if I asked you to dance?" he said thoughtfully.

"If he does, he'll just have to mind," Rinoa said, happy to have a change in topic. Because Bobby was sweet, and he looked like a good dancer. "... Sookie's not going to threaten me or anything, right?"

Because Sookie was also sweet, and at the same time, she wasn't really interested in getting on Sookie's bad side.
