It was that time of year again! New people were here! New people to date, get to know, or perhaps make a mortal enemy of!

You never know.

Signs were hung up in front of the bar, both obviously, and easy to miss for anyone who might wander in and get signed up without their knowledge. Above the bar was a banner (in glitter):

TONIGHT!
THREE MINUTE DATES!
GOOD LUCK WBRURBODY

Your hostess wasn't gonna question it. And a few minutes before 8:00, she took the stage.

"Hello, everyone! And welcome to Three Minute Dates!" Kitty greeted them. "If you're new to this, the rules are simple. We call your name along with one other person. You talk to this person, get to know their likes, their loves, their dreams. After three minutes, a buzzer will sound-" Pause for the sound. "-and you'll hear your name paired with a different person. Et cetera. If there is anyone you'd like to talk to more, the bar will be open afterwards for drinks and conversation. Remember that any violence will get you transported into the pond, but also please don't attempt violence in order to flee, that is rude to the rest of your dates. Now I'm going to get off the stage. Have fun, and good luck..."

She trailed off, not going to attempt to pronounce the word on that sign.

Ah starting and ending the dates with a very familiar face. Kurt was totally ok with this and since he was at the bar when he had heard Guillermo's and his names called he grabbed a quick order of sodas and brought them to the table and waited.

“Kurt hey,” Guillermo grinned as he made his way over, glad that the evening was finishing with someone that he knew, “how did your evening go?”

"Pretty good!" Kurt thought back to the four 'dates' he'd already had and felt his face flush slightly as he thought about one in particular. "What about you? Get matched up with anyone fun or interesting?"

"I think I actually knew everyone this time round," Guillermo told him, "so it was nice to catch up with people and talk to them some more," he paused, "I definitely need to work on being more social I think - outside of classes and our DnD sessions," he added.

"Eh you and me both," Kurt said with a sheepish grin. "But you've been doing really good getting out with our game nights so that's a great step! I've been wanting to get out and explore the preserve some... maybe we can get a couple of the others together and do that sometime!"

Guillermo grinned, “I would like that,” he said, “I’ve been meaning to do some more exploring, haven’t done as much as I’d like to,” he paused, “I think the last time was when we explored the lighthouse near the start of the year,” he admitted.

"Well, we will definitely have to make it happen and soon!" Kurt said with an emphatic nod. "Shame to have it all there and NOT go exploring!"

"It definitely needs to happen, maybe we could try and do some before the colder weather starts to settle in?" Guillermo considered.

"Aye! Can see if Graham and Libby want to join in or if we wanna tackle an outing or two on our own sometime too! That sounds like my idea of a 'date'" Kurt said with a playful wink.

At the mention of Graham, and ‘date’ in the same sentence Guillermo started to go rather red and got rather distracted, “it … that does sound nice,” he agreed, rubbing the back of his neck, “it could be a lot of fun, the four of us going exploring,” he paused, "I mean it would also be fun for the two of us to explore as well," he added after a moment, since he had been a focused on the mention of Graham that he almost didn't hear the rest of what Kurt was saying.
