Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

...Minsc may have made the attempt to convince Jaheira to stick on the island long enough to come to the dance with him.

Minsc did not think he'd ever heard Jaheira laugh that much in all his time of knowing her.

Or ever laugh at all, for that matter.

Still, he didn't have anything better to do now that she'd returned to Faerûn, so he was there in polished armour to help with the chaperoning.

Boo had a little bow tie, as well.

Anyone who dared imply Ghanima was old might find themselves on the unfortunate end of a sparring match. Very pretty dress or no.

A little bit of blood would simply make it fit the theme better.

Yzma was there as a one-woman army of why you should never have sex again, looking out over the crowd and mentally compartmentalizing the students into ones she'd turn into fleas and ones she'd turn into cows.

Zoe might have been old, but she could still take anyone who tried to break the rules while they were here. She was keeping an eye on the students, but looking more at the punch, for now.

Miss Elizabeth Bennet was hardly two years the elder of many of her students, and thus not quite a spinster, yet. But she was quite willing to chaperone, to mingle, and to chat. Possibly even dance, should the mood strike.
