Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

"No," John argued. "I suggested the pocket dress and the not-there dress. None with the fluffy rough stuff."

Jaina tried not to laugh. "The not-there dress. I don't know that I remember that one."

John grinned. "It was my favorite. I don't think you were willing to try it on."

"It wasn't not there so much as it was small and short and exposing," he replied. "And I would have helped!"

"Oh, I bet you would have. I still go for short." But in a classy non-hooker way. She hoped.

"I know," he smiled approvingly even though she wasn't at all hooker like. "I like it."

"Really," she said interestedly. "I'm going to have to remember that." Especially since she'd already said yes to prom.

"You knew that," he replied, wrapping his arms around her. "You have fantastic legs."

She was beginning to wonder how they had made it out of the room. "I'm pretty sure I didn't, but my legs and I thank you," she said, sliding her arms around his waist.

"What do you say? Do we mingle first, dance second?" John wasn't about to let go of her just yet though.
