Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

He breathed out with a mild, amused huff.

"Not really, no. Dinah was teaching me how to get myself out from being tied up, considering what happened that once. She's actually a very good teacher."

"Uh-huh," she said, pressing her lips together flatly for a moment.

"Well, good then for learning useful, helpful, getting out of being tied up, skills. Not that I ever ever want you to be tied up. Ever. I will have to hurt someone."

"I'd rather it didn't happen either, but the world doesn't usually like to oblige me, so I do my best."

He gave her arm a light squeeze, an assurance that he was fine and right there and not tied up somewhere.

"Come on. We should be having fun at this thing, not talking about" my eventual capture, death, and failure "ropes."

Yes, because talking about getting tied up by another girl sounded too dirty to Amber. She was trying not to be jealous but she knew Dinah. She was vivacious and beautiful.

"You'll dance with me later?"

"I will dance with you whenever you like," he told her honestly.

"Though I remind you my dancing is a little... archaic compared to what some people seem to be doing."
