Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

"Hey, Emmet," Triela called when she spotted him (which wasn't that hard at all). "How's your semester been?" She looked a lot different with her hair down.

"Triela, hi! You look great," Emmett said, giving her a cheerful smile. "Semester's been going pretty good. The classes here are awesome."

"The Childhood Development class and the Movie Appreciation class," he told her. "I don't know how I ended up in the childhood one but, whatever, it's still cool."

"Yeah," she nodded. "I've seen you there. But you the movie one is the one you wanted to take?" Her voice probably betrayed that she didn't understand the draw of that one.

"They're not bad, but not really my thing," Triela shrugged. "My roommate back home is more of a movie person."

"That and ethics," Triela sighed. Ethics was not a very interesting class in her opinion.

"Tell me about it," Triela sighed. "And when I pointed that out, the teacher gave me detention." It totally wasn't her fault. Obviously.
