Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

"Well, hello," Ronan said, laughing as he danced toward Dojima on the dance floor. "You look like you're thoroughly enjoying yourself."

"It's a dance, the zombies haven't crashed the party yet, and I look pretty," Dōjima informed him smugly. "Why shouldn't I be enjoying myself?"

"Are we expecting zombies to crash the party?" Ronan asked, laughing. "Although I suppose it wouldn't surprise me, with the theme of the evening and last year's prom."

"Never underestimate a zombie," Dōjima deadpanned. "Even the undead like to boogie. I think they're just waiting for the right moment."

"You know, I have to wonder what our student council was thinking. Are we trying to provoke an invasion?"

"I can't say that I'd mind if there was one," Ronan retorted. "A chance to let loose on something would be great fun."

"Nuh-uh, no fights while I've got you in my clutches!" she laughed, continuing to dance. "Any stampeding hordes will need to wait until I'm done dancing and have changed out of my dress. I'm not exactly packing a weapon, right now."

Ronan snorted. "No more than your feminine wiles and rapier wit," he said, "which are weapon enough for any woman, I would say."

"Flattery, good sir, isn't going to get you anywhere," Dōjima practically purred. "Except, perhaps, another dance."

"Alas!" Ronan mock-dramatised. "And here I had hoped to woo you away from your fair beau, Romeo!" He paused. "... Of course, the package deal has much more appeal."

Yurika laughed and shook her head. "You'd have a better shot of wooing me away," she said dryly. "Although I'm sure he'd be flattered you think so."

"I'm sure I could convince him," Ronan said, laughing. "I can be very persuasive when I wish. He did seem to enjoy the kiss, too, back at the kissing booths."

That just earned him another grin and a headshake. "Even if he did, I'm not entirely sure I want to share," she mock-scolded. "What if you steal him away from me? I don't think I want to risk that."

"What, and you're not now worried that I might steal you away from him? Do you have so little faith in your companion that you fear any pretty thing coming along might woo him?" Ronan grinned in return. "Although, to be fair, I am quite pretty."

"I have faith in my Romeo," Yurika replied gaily. "I just lack faith in myself to deserve him."

"And you're very pretty, yes, but I'm still prettier."

"Ah, yes, I must concede that point to you," Ronan admitted, choosing not to comment now on Dojima's gay admission. "Once upon a time, however, I did make rather a beautiful woman myself."
