Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

"Like a cop?" Hannibal asked.

"More sorta than that," she said. "Forensic artist. Which sounds both awesome, and really kind of creepy."

"I didn't know they had artists for that sort of thing," he admitted. "Drawing dead people?"

Angela nodded. "I think so," she said. "I didn't get details, really-- Knowing too much about the future would be a little creepy."

"Well, yeah, but that job itself is kinda creepy," he remarked.

"Exactly," she confirmed. "No reason to add to that."

"But, least it sounds interesting?" he tried. "Not boring."

"If there's one thing I hope I never have to worry about being, it's that."

"I don't think you'll have to worry," he assured her. "Even if you were doing something boring, you wouldn't be boring."

"I think you're biased," she told him with a smile. "But thank you."

"Hey, being biased is not a bad thing," he said. "Just means I know what I'm talking about."

"You do know, that makes no sense," Angela said, laughing.

"It does too!" It really didn't.

"Suuuure," she drew out. "I believe you."

Totally didn't.

"My original point still stands in that being biased is not a bad thing," he said.

"I would never complain about that," she said, smiling at him. It was the sort of thing that, of course, she liked.

"And the second part is true too," he added. "I know you pretty well."

Angela nodded. "I'd say better than anyone else around here," she said. "Lucky you."

"Lucky me," he agreed. "Benefits of living with you, I think. And being so devilishly charming."

"Little bit of this, little bit of that," she decided.

"I am devilishly charming more than a little bit," he insisted.

"I'll give you a lot bit," she said after a moment. "You better appreciate it."

"I do," he said and sighed. "I will keep that close to my heart and treasure it forever and always."

"That's what I like to hear," Angela said cheerfully.

And then, in an oh so smooth conversation redirection, "So, when I do get this dance I'm owed," she asked.

"Whenever you'd like," he said, deciding just to go with it and not avoid it. It was such a hardship to dance with her, really.
