Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

Ichigo blinked at the kiss, but he relaxed as he reached for her hand. "You do look pretty like this."

He was being nice, she could be nice back. Ino closed her fingers around his hand.

"Thank you," Ino said, smiling. "You're looking pretty good too."

"As long as I'm not looking pretty," he wrinkled his nose at her and started to move further into the room.

She just grinned, and followed after him. "And what if I said that?" Ino teased.

"You get to dance alone," he told her, steering them towards the table with drinks.

"Hardly," she sniffed. "If not you, I could totally talk other people into dancing."

It sounded ridiculous to ask if she wouldn't miss dancing with him, not matter what the dance theme was. "And I'll just hand you drinks?"

He considered it for a moment. "I don't mind," he finally allowed. "What would you like to drink?"

She beamed at him. "Punch, please?"

"Okay, hang on," he moved off towards the end of the table where the punch was kept. He first made sure it wasn't smelling like alcohol before he poured them two glasses and returned to Ino.

"Punch," he offered, holding out the glass.

"In case someone spiked it?" he said, not in favour of alcohol. He was a minor after all.

"What's wrong with spiking it?"

Ino... well... had no problems with it.

"We're minors!" Ichigo said as if this said enough.

"And we shouldn't drink, it's not good for us," he pointed out.

"Sure it is," she said, sipping her punch. "As long as you don't drink that much."

He shrugged and sipped from his cup. "This isn't spiked yet anyway."

She grinned up at him. "Come on, a little spiking won't hurt anyone when it does get spiked."

Because, seriously, it had to at some point.

"Do you want to have a chance for your toes to survive?" Ichigo asked dryly. He had a point there.

"...point." A beat. "Maybe I'll just drink then."

"I'm not carrying you back," he warned her. He probably would, though.

"I'm not a light-weight," she said, glancing at him. "I can hold my drink."

Ichigo was pretending he didn't know what romantic was. He didn't need to try very hard. "Well, I'll let you know if you're not dancing in a straight line," he told her.
