Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

"Apparently, the last time I made her come to one of these things when she was dateless she stood in a corner all evening and felt stupid," Angela replied.

"Oh, see, that was what she did wrong. You can't just stand in a corner when you show up without a date," Chuck said. "You have to make the most of it."

"Which is exactly what I told her," Angela said, smiling at him. "It seems to work out for me."

"Works for me too," he said. "I showed up alone and now I'm with a beautiful girl who is a fantastic dancer. There is no bad here."

"Who needs an official date, when you can just dance with everyone?" Not that she would have complained, had she found one, but she certainly didn't have a problem with this scenario.

"I'm glad you enjoy it," he said. "You doing anything special tomorrow?"

Look at him, remembering what day it was tomorrow.

"I'm not," Angela replied. "But I'm sure I'll figure out some way to keep myself entertained."

"Are you, or is that a silly question?" she asked with a grin at him.

"If you think I had a date or something then that would be silly. But assuming I might have plans isn't," Chuck said, grinning. "I was thinking about going to Victrola and hanging out there."

Because nothing said Valentine's Day like getting drunk and watching women take their clothes off.

Angela laughed, and shook her head slightly as she danced. "I guess we'll see about that if it ever happens."

"I'm just saying, if I start writing someone's name on my notebooks with little hearts you might want to find a bunker or something to hide in," he said helpfully.

"If that's the case then be sure to hide me away in my room before I do something embarrassing," Chuck said. "That might be worse than the apocalypse."

"Well, if you ever go through weekend weirdness, we can switch rooms until you're better," Chuck said. He paused. "Unless Hannibal snores. Then no deal."
