Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

"Okay, maybe not a good idea then," Tony said. "Has he been cool about Francine tonight?"

"I don't think they've spoken yet." There was an undertone of 'Thank god' in there.

"I think he'll be polite." He hoped, at least. "I already yelled at him for the tart comment."

"Are you allowed to do that?" Tony asked. "Yell at him?"

"Not... really." Merlin shrugged a bit helplessly. "But he's not like most nobles."

"That's good," Tony said. "He deserves to be yelled at for what he said."

"He'll just have me muck out the stables until he gets over whatever problem he has with her," Merlin said with a sigh.

"He'll say something about her, I'll argue with him and then he'll give me more chores to do. And then he'll try to make up in his own way," Merlin explained. "It's just how he is."

"That... almost makes sense," Tony admitted. "Though I'm glad it's you and not me."

"He's grown quite a bit since I first met him," Merlin replied. "So, we can only hope he continues here."
