April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

Kate pretended to consider that. "I would pout about it for about two minutes, then find someone else to constantly bitch about my life decisions and harshly criticize my body."

"And then you would know that you would never find anyone that's as good at that as I am and you'd come crawling back, begging me to reconsider and offering all manner of offerings to sway me."

Maybe that was how it happened in Nathan's fantasy world or maybe that's how he really thought it'd go. He believed it whatever the reason.

"Yeah, but I do it better than you," Nathan decided, smiling proudly. "You could learn from me, Kate. I could be like your master and you could be the students. That's not to be confused with the whole dominatrix/submissive thing. I'm not too into that."

"Hey, I've been drinking!" Nathan said and the mun started laughing at her typo. "You have to forgive me some things, come on. But yes, I meant abominable. Unless you're angling to see my abs because I'm sure that can be arranged even if I shouldn't flaunt my body where someone might jump me."
