April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

"I also think you're a jerk," Percy pointed out, shaking his head. "You gonna tell everyone that too?"

"Nah, I'll leave that part out," he said. "I only want to spread around the good stuff."

"So, can I spread around the bad stuff for you?" Percy asked, raising an eyebrow. "I wouldn't want everyone to only hear one side of the story."

"Why would you want everyone to know you're dating a jerk?" Luke asked. "That reflects poorly on you and your choices, doesn't it?"

"You think I'm the first person to date a jerk?" Percy asked, raising an eyebrow. "Maybe they'd sympathize with me."

Luke shook his head. "Nobody is gonna sympathize with you when they find out what a brat you are."

"I'll tell them that dealing with your jerky ways made me a brat," Percy countered.

"Please, I'm sure you were a brat waaaaay before you met me," Luke said. "You were probably born bratty."

"Yeah?" Percy smirked and stepped up closer to Luke. "And how you gonna prove that? Call my mom?"

"Your mom would probably talk you up just 'cause she's your mom," Luke said, standing up a bit straighter and smiling down at Percy. "Totally not a reliable witness."

"Well, I'd say you could ask Gabe but he's...gone," Percy said and couldn't help sounding pleased about that. "He'd probably agree with you but that's not a good endorsement."

"I wouldn't have trusted him anyway," Luke said. "He sounded like an asshole."

"Good. That would be cause for dumping you too, if you agreed with him," Percy said, nodding. "Smart boy."

"I have my moments," he said with a smirk. "Don't get too used to it."

"So, you're occasionally cute and sometimes smart," Percy listed, nodding. "Maybe you should only get sex every so often then too."

Luke lifted his eyebrows. "Excuse me?"

"It'd be keeping up the pattern, right?" Percy joked, laughing.

"Yeah I don't like that pattern," he said. "I should get sex as often as possible."

"Even someone who proclaims to be as amazing as you can't possibly have sex all the time," Percy said, shaking his head. "You'd need to rest."

"I didn't say all the time, did I?" Luke pointed out. "I said as often as possible. That includes breaks."

"Yeah, we'll see if that means tonight." It wouldn't. Stupid glitter. Stupid brat. "I haven't decided yet."

"Well if you decide against it it won't be too much of a loss." Luke would be pissed that he was being a huge baby anyway. "I can just have sex with myself."

Actually he would probably be too annoyed to do even that.

Whatever, he'd asked Luke not to do it and he'd done it anyway. He'd be a baby if he wanted to be one.

"That sounds really freaking weird."

Luke rolled his eyes. "You know what I meant."

"Yeah, I do but that doesn't mean it didn't sound weird, you weirdo," Percy said, shaking his head. "I'm scarred now."
