April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

She had trouble holding back the chuckle. "Honestly, Jaime. A girl can't change into her totally awesome leather outfit and not be evil?"

"I don't know... maybe if I saw said girl in her totally awesome leather outfit I could decide."

"That does sound like a good reason. A second opinion from another hero would totally set anyone at ease that sees me in the outfit." She gave him an innocent look. "When would you be available?"

She giggled and pressed her head into his shoulder. "You really want to see me in it, don't you? Any other costumes I should try on?" If he wanted, she'd do a whole fashion show... well, there were limits, boyfriend or not, but she wasn't going to bring them up if he didn't.

"I don't mind, you know." She pulled back to smile up at him. "It's just... different, having someone want to see me in certain outfits."

"But..." Jaime frowned slightly. "You're so pretty. Why wouldn't people want to see you dressed up?"

"No one's ever asked to actually see me in an outfit! I mean, people say how nice I look after I'm already wearing it, but I've never had a request before."

As soon as he said that, Jaime found himself blushing the color of Momoko's hair.

"Hmm? There's that many? Maybe I should have a fashion show just for you." Momoko grinned and reached up to tap his reddened cheek. "Too bad I only rented that elf costume, though. That one got a lot of second looks."

Ah, more blushing. He was so totally cute and she was so addicted to seeing it! "I'm totally getting good at that," she chuckled, then dropped her arms from around him, reaching instead for his hand. "Come on, you totally promised me food and dancing! We can discuss the fashion show on the dance floor."

He had promised, after all.

She pulled him close and planted a kiss on his cheek. "But you look so cute when you do! It's totally my weakness!" Along with a few other things he did, she now knew.

She grinned into the kiss, finally pulling away to smile. "We've been over your looks already. I happen to think you look even more irresistible when you blush."
