Impromptu Labor Day Beach Cookout, The Beach, Monday afternoon

It was the last day of the reunion and Jessica figured she needed to take a moment alone. Get some solitude, a place to be with her thoughts for a little bit, in a quiet place. The beach would work. Have some white noise from the water, what could possibly be more relaxing.

When she got there, food was already on the grill, the volleyball net was set up, and a pig was sitting next to a spit, eating from a trough. There had to be a story there. And wait, who started grilling food on a beach only to leave it, and a pig? If this was Fandom magic, it was really weird Fandom magic.

Anyway, alone-time apparently wasn't happening. She could settle for some BBQ as long as she avoided anything that might have come from that pig's family.

Kitty wanted some beach time on Labor Day, and she was in a weird (not bad) mood after yesterday, so she'd come down and-

Hermione had actually come out of her hotel room after the disaster that was Saturday, and found an area on the beach where she could sit, and be confused about the pig running around. Student, maybe?

Peyton was happy to spend her last day in Fandom at the beach. Good food, sunshine, and one last chance to see old friends.

Aww, Buffy might actually miss this place this time around. Plus she wasn't looking forward to the portal back to everyone else, so she would take advantage of her time here while she could, looking for anyone she might have missed so far.

Bellamy was aware that there was a glut of people on the island but he didn't care that much to figure out why.

He'd stripped his shirt off, tossing it aside so the sun could beat down on his tan shoulders. The adult beverages were his second stop and then he sat down in the sand and stretched his long legs out.

It had been nice visiting Fandom, but Lana had to admit she missed home and her job a bit. Still, she'd be home soon enough. For today she could sit on the beach and catch up with any old friends she hadn't seen yet.

The mini-invasion yesterday had meant that Billy had kept his kids safe and sound and BORED in the hotel all day yesterday so he was very pleased to take them down to the beach today.

"Don't drown." he ordered them. "Ana makes sure Tommy doesn't drown. If he digs up any buried treasure, let me know."

Jake was actually starting to look forwards to going back. To Battleworld. It was possible that he'd rethink that in a couple of months, but right now, it was home and it had coffee and Krycek.

Still, he was at the cookout in case there were somebody new or old he hadn't run into yet.

BEACH PARTY!!!!!!! Because where else was Minako gonna be this weekend, seriously? Food, sand, volleyball... it was, like, all of her favorite things in one big package!

Cable had no intention of being here for long, but Deadpool was watching Jan at the moment. He had the time to stroll in and consider those gathered.

He had files on at least a couple of them.

Eventually, he'd drift towards the food, largely to pick up some for Wade. For the moment, he was people-watching.

Didi hadn't gotten out much since class, but she had to at least check in with everybody. She set up her black beach umbrella and sat under it, nibbling on potato chips and watching the crowd.

Anders got distracted by the little pig. He scratched its ears a few times nd then somehow found himself sitting on the sand with the pig in his lap.

"You aren't a cat," he informed it. "Why don't you go bother someone who doesn't want to turn you into bacon?"

The pig grunted and snuggled into his lap even more.

Geordi had to admit that his trip to Fandom, however unexpected, hadn't been that bad. He figured since he was here that he might as well make the most of it and had found himself at the beach, having a look round.

Jasper hadn't been out much this weekend. With so many people around, he'd thought it better to keep himself away for the most part.

But, after two days in his room, he felt like he was suffocating so he slid on a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shorts, and a tee shirt before showing up on the beach.

If things got too bad up in his head, he'd leave.

Peter was going back to Battleworld in a few hours. Before getting back to a life of writing about Baron Osborn without writing too much about Baron Osborn, he could definitely take some time to enjoy one last party.

It had been a while since Zayne was on a planet with a beach, and he didn't feel like wasting the opportunity to relax. Granted, he was still his normal level of completely covered up, but he took his boots off and let himself enjoy the sand between his toes a bit.

Plenty of meat and veggies have been grilled up along with other moddable cookout fare. And there's several coolers with water, soda, juices, and so on. One of the coolers had adult beverages, but it was kind of in the back and hard to find.

Brooke found the adult beverages immediately, but that was because she was a) looking for them, and b) Brooke. So she had one in hand and was happy to enjoy the sun. Not many beaches in Manhattan, you know.

There's a volleyball court on the sand and some Frisbees laying around in case anyone wanted something active to do.

Jaina had never played, but she'd seen the meta for Top Gun and knew how this worked, shirtlessness aside. So she grabbed the ball and tried spiking it over the net.

"I'm too short for this," she muttered.

I'm staring at loading bars on my computer all day, so I am on my iPad and will almost certainly be slow! Especially as I try playing different characters.
