It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

THREE MINUTE DATES
Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!
And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.
"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

This was great start, Troy, yes, thank you.
But honestly, Sakaki was also so quiet and serious all the time, that he just mostly wanted to get her to smile right off the bat, and it didn't seem like a bad strategy for it.
