Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

[So much OCD incoming. OCD is up! Date away! A post for Caritas after the dates will go up Saturday!]

Tisarwat still had a mostly-full tiny cup of sake from her last round and found herself very disappointed that she hadn't passed by a plant on the way to her next date that she could pour the drink into.

At least she was learning things today, and one of those things was that she didn't much care for sake.

And though she wasn't sure if she really knew Stark, she at least recognized that face. And the mask.

"Oh! You were at the coffee shop that week when I was convinced it was December already."

Which, again, still felt very weird, because she didn't even really know what Christmas was, and yet...

It was a very recognizable mask!

"I was," Stark agreed. "On my skateboard. That was an odd week for many of us, I think."

"At least it wasn't just me, then," Tisarwat noted with a shake of her head, and then she offered Stark a faint smile. "Tisarwat, by the way. Which I know they said it when they called the rounds, but it seems like a proper introduction might be necessary, too. And I swear, I'm usually much better about knowing what month it is."

Give or take.

Sometimes you just lost or gained a little bit of time, here and there.

"Time isn't always as straightforward as it seems like it should be," Stark said. He'd had a little space jetlag this week with the planet and moon-hopping he'd done. "I'm glad the drinks wore off eventually. I was getting tired of falling off the skateboard trying to go up the stairs."

Down had been fine. Up had been a challenge.

"So..." Tisarwat ventured, tilting her head as those words definitely painted a picture, "you were really riding the skateboard everywhere? The whole time?"

"Every time I would have been walking I was doing that instead. I couldn't seem to just walk anywhere." Stark shrugged a little helplessly.

"I was also a plant every morning when I woke up. The skateboard was better than that, least. It was a very odd week." He was hoping this next week would just be calm. He was not going to say that out loud though.

"And here all I had to deal with was the fact that I thought it was December," Tisarwat said, realizing that she probably got off way easy on that whole thing.

"It would at least be interesting to wake up as a plant every morning, though," she noted, but, then again, Tisarwat did have a weird thing for horticulturalists. "How long did that last after you woke up? Did anyone need to water you?"

Stark had a bit of a thing for plants himself, but really only a very specific humanoid one.

"I think it was an hour or so. It was hard to tell. But then I'd be me again, which I very much prefer."
