Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"Hey, you're in Stark's class with me, right?" 'Yana asked, plopping down in her chair. 'Hello' was clearly for other people.

Well, they did only have three minutes! So, really, it was just kind of efficient of Illyana to skip that part.

Sakaki nodded a little, trying not to feel too nervous as she wondered how she wound up in something like this. "That's right," she confirmed. "The superhero one..."

If she sounded a little confused, it was because she still wasn't quite sure how she'd even ended up in that class.

"It's very different," she added, "from his last class. About cupcakes."

"I think he said Kitty was supposed to be teaching it originally, which, makes more sense," Illyana replied, nodding. "Though I'm not actually interested in being a superhero, at all, so I'm fine with whatever this class turns into."

"I don't think I'd really be a very good superhero," Sakaki admitted, a little ruefully, although a lot of her classmates back home would disagree with that statement ferverntly.

She considered Illyana thoughtfully, with a curious tilt of her head. "What do you think you might want to be, then?"

It was familiar, comfortable territory for her, since she had a pretty clear vision of her own future...hopefully.

"I'm going to be Sorcerer Supreme for my reality," she said, as if it was an immutable fact. "Protect magic from people, and people from magic."

"It's not a hero job, more like... keeping certain scales from tipping in any particular way."
