Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

So far this was Rey getting to see all her friends.

"How's this going for you?" she asked.

Honestly, same.

"Not too bad. Prompto and Seivarden were my first two dates. Though no offense to either of them, you're my favorite so far." And they'd only just sat down together!

"That's going to be hard to live up to," Rey grinned. "How've you been?"

Liam lifted one shoulder in a half-shrug. "Okay, I suppose. Nothing to complain about."

Though that was said in the tone of someone who maybe wanted to complain about having nothing to complain about.

"Nothing?" she said, hearing that tone.

"Things are just... fine? The biggest crisis I've had to deal with lately was the fact that someone told the Bee Lady about 5G," Liam said.

"I'd be happy to trade with you, I wasn't really myself for a week and a half," she told him. "Also I'm not sure what 5G is."

Another shrug. "I just like feeling useful. Which isn't all that easy when your job involves policing a town with zero actual crime," he pointed out. "And 5G is the network that newer phones use to communicate. There are a bunch of conspiracy theories out there about how it can cause cancer or be used to brainwash people," he rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure there are other ways to feel useful if the job isn't helping there," Rey said with a shrug of her own. "Hopefully without Fandom pulling the rug out from under us again."

She'd had a major bombshell dropped on her followed by a lot of weird Fandom changes, she'd love to not have problems right now.

The whole 'what parts of me are thanks to being related to a genocidal maniac' thing was something Liam was painfully familiar with. Though he'd also had a bit more time to deal with said thing.

"Unless you've just jinxed it," he pointed out with a smile.
