Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

The announcement of his next round had Troy grinning, approaching Alexis with his hands opening up in an imagine that! gesture.

It was practically tradition by now, really.

"Might as well call it now," he said. "No point in bothering with the other two dates when the best one is already here."

The bonus of a small student body was that the odds were really in their favor.

"I'm so glad you know that," Alexis teased. "Those poor future dates."

Troy sighed, shaking his head in dismay for those unfortunate souls.

"They really don't stand a chance," he agreed, and, although, really, if he did consider the pool of at least other guys that he'd be competing with right now, he felt he really had nothing to worry about there.

"We should...at least give them the time of day, though," he decided, magnanimously. "Wouldn't want to deprive at least them of our awesomeness, you know?"

"Well yeah, they have to see what they're missing," Alexis said. "I was hoping I'd get you anyway."

It had been sort of theme when they both did this, sure, but it was still good to hear it, and Troy had to smile a little. "Same," he said. "I mean, obviously. You're definitely one of the best people to be paired up with at this thing. And we haven't really..."

He couldn't think of a really cool way to say done stuff together lately, especially since it was Alexis, and he knew she tended to be kind of...disappear to a weird place that sometimes involved kidnapping to a startlingly high degree...about things, so he just sort of let it trailed off and instead went with, "What've you been up to?"

"Feuding with Tahani, and I just got back from my friend's party birthday week in the Hamptons," she said. "I remember some of it."

At least no kidnappings!
