Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

Sakaki was sort of hoping she'd have managed to work through most of her nerves about this whole thing by now, but they were still just as present as ever, meaning, when she got to her next match, she could mostly only manage to get out a simple, "Hello. Are...are you having a good time so far?"

"It... could be worse?" Terra admitted. "I only just found out this afternoon I'd been signed up for, ah- this." Via a voicemail on her phone telling her to arrive at the bar a few minutes before 8, and Terra had been equal parts curious and desperately wanting to fit in, so here she was.

"I only just heard about it today, myself," Sakaki admitted. She had been on her way to the animal shelter to check in on the cats, and it had caught her eyes and seemed like an interesting thing to try. "It seemed like a good way to maybe meet some new people."

She'd really kept to herself a lot since getting here, but she wanted to get out more! Sometimes, you just needed that extra push of an organized event!

“There is that!” Terra agreed brightly. “I’ve been rather terrible about meeting people, to be honest.”

"Me, too," Sakaki managed to find a little bit more of a smile as she empathized with that sentiment. "I have my vet prep work to keep me busy, so sometimes, it's easy to just get sucked in. Did you start with the new school year? I started here only just this summer, myself."
