Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"Yeah down times seem to be a bit of a luxury here on the island" Dwight agreed with a slight nod.

"I've got the fix & clean shop on the island- basically a handyman shop. Little tinkering and a bit of cleaning and fixing things that need work on the island. Finally got things set up for the most part... only took a few months. Though, in my defense, the island has been quite insistent on dragging me into all kinds of insanity since I arrived on the island a few months ago."

He was silent for a moment before continuing. "So you've been on the island before. Former student?"

Goose nodded, “graduating class of 2014, which for me was last year but time moved a lot more quickly for Fandom when I left,” he said, “that part’s still taking some getting used, I suppose the island hasn’t really changed all that much all things considered,” he added.

"Totally understand the timeline issue" Dwight said with a sympathetic nod. "I love ten years when I came here, so still trying to warp my head around that. And the whole idea of different universes, the multi-verse, and all that..." Dwight mused. "Where I come from, portals and time travel are still largely considered science fiction and pseudo science by many. Though Fandom is definitely presenting some great opportunities to change all that" he added.

“My home’s pretty strange so some of its not unheard of, well the time travel thing is new,” he explained, “ended up being sucked through a black hole a couple of months ago that was a different experience,”

"I can imagine. That sounds terrifying actually. I'm not a fan of flying to begin with so the idea of being out in space, it's both a bit intriguing and also terrifying at the same time."

"I do a fair bit of flying myself," Goose said, well when he wasn't crashing the ships that is, "mostly the smaller ships but being up there still makes it worth it, even though it can be daunting at first,"

"Well maybe someday soon my uneasiness will let me get up there and see some things for myself" Dwight said with a chuckle. "Be race to see which happens first for me..." he laughed a little bit, shaking his head "space or portals."
