Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

[So much OCD incoming. OCD is up! Date away! A post for Caritas after the dates will go up Saturday!]

Was this secretly some kind of social experiment? People didn’t really meet their prospective mates this way, did they?
imawizard: (wait what)

"You're the girl who talked about eating my owl, right?" Harry checked.

Malia shrugged. "Yeah, sounds like me." She'd tried to eat one of her teachers this summer, after all. ". . . I probably won't do that again."
imawizard: (the way i see it...)

"Any certain reason?" he asked, because he was still a little concerned with that 'probably.'
desertwolfcub: (uh oh)

“Turns out it’s really easy to get food here without killing it yourself first,” Malia said. “And I may have bitten a teacher this summer. He wasn’t as tasty as he looked. Or smelled.”
imawizard: (quoi?)

"Oh," Harry said, eyes wide.

"That's a new one."

“I’m an original. Do you want to spend all our time talking about you owl?”
imawizard: (end of the year chat)

"No. What do you want to talk about?"

Harry, let it be noted, was terrible at this.

“I don’t know. What do you like to do besides . . . whatever you do with a pet owl?”
imawizard: (not bad)

"Magic, when I'm able. I'm not supposed to do it here," he said. "What do you do?"

“Run around in the woods and try to be a coyote again,” Malia said. “Or sleep.”
imawizard: (what was that?)

"Trying to be a coyote on purpose?" Harry asked, as the buzzer sounded.

Being a coyote itself, not all that weird when you knew a werewolf.

“Coyotes don’t have to speed-date,” Malia pointed out, and headed to her next date.
