Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm
It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.
CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES
Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!
And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.
"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"
[So much OCD incoming. OCD is up! Date away! A post for Caritas after the dates will go up Saturday!]

"Eliot?" he presumed, grinning and lifting the beer he was working on before pulling out a chair. "I'm Gladio. How's it going, man?"

"Yeah," he said, "sure. I guess you could look at it like that."
It was definitely much more fitting than like a goddamn flower.
Grinning a little as he gave Eliot a once over, he lifted his chin. "So, what's your deal? If I'm getting the gist of this thing, we don't really have a lot of time to cover some ground before that horn goes off and it's onto the next one."

"Lucky you," he said. "It does involve a lot of waving swords around. Swinging them around sometimes, too, even. Shield to the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Lucis." Since they were throwing around their fancy titles and all that. "Currently here because my fellows in arms over there," he took a moment to point out where Ignis and Prompto were currently engaged with a nod and a wave of a finger, "got it into their system that they like teaching, and I decided to come along for the ride. A bit less waving swords around here, but I hear sometimes that's not always the case."

And although Gladio was honestly just kind of excited to find someone to talk to about swords that he might be missing the wordplay in effect at that moment, he would probably greatly appreciate it for what it was in hindsight.

That was not entendre, thanks very much. He meant he literally didn't think to bring an actual sword through the portal with him when the Fairy Queen had sent him through.

Shirts, on the other hand, there was a shortage of those, but he had, it appeared, managed to find one for today.
And, of course, that was the moment when the time seemed to reach its end, and that lovely airhorn blasted through the air. Gladio quirked a glance at it for a moment before shifting his attention back to Eliot. "I got you covered. You should definitely hit me up sometime."
