Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"I know you didn't teach me or my friends," Ulysses said, in the most questionable greeting possible, as he came up to Jaye. "So that already puts you ahead of the last guy."

A beat.

"Hi, I'm Ulysses."

"Jaye. And if it helps I wouldn't have remembered you even if I taught you," she told him.

Which sounded bad, but she didn't remember anyone she taught.

Ulysses considered that for a second, then decided, "You know what? That's way more reassuring than it, like, probably should be."

He'd take what he could get, at this point.

"So, have you like been here long?"

"I've been back here a couple years. Went to high school here. Sometimes I teach when I'm bored. Somehow I both graduated in 2007 and it's only been six years for me."

It was complicated.

So yeah, he could get how that was complicated.

"This place really likes to fuck with time, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, but it means I'm younger and hotter than everyone I went to school with," Jaye pointed out. "Gotta look on the bright side."

Okay, maybe a little bit at her, but only because her bright side didn't work out as well for him! "Meanwhile I'm reunited with my high school best friend who's still actually in high school."

It was actually not nearly as weird as it probably should have been, which probably said some things about either Uly's or Illyana's level of maturity.
