Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"Yup, that's Fandom for you" Dwight said with a chuckle. "Throwing curve balls and giving ya things out of left field. Par for the course really" Dwight added as he took a drink of the beer he had gotten from the bar. "Especially looking at who all it decided to shuffle me with this time."

"But how have things been since last time? I know settling down in wasn't the game plan but at are you at least getting adjusted to Fandom life so far?

"Well, I appear to have acquired a job," Eliot said. "Retail of all things."

Dwight fought back a smirk.

"Retail is good honest work. What shop will you be working at? Will make sure I send people your way."

So you don't die of island boredom, or anything like that.

"Good, honest work," Eliot mused. "What fun is that?"

He shook his head.

"I'll be working Mondays at that quaint little magic shop in town. Where I suppose I can at least continue honing my party tricks."

"Well should fit the magic aptitude you have at least" Dwight said encouragingly. "Might pick up a few things from Wanda- I think that's her shop isn't it? And I'm sure you have plenty of tricks to teach as well?"

"Wanda's, yes," Eliot agreed. "Though she seemed to think she was rather new to magic herself, so I'm not sure how much I'll learn from her rather than the other way around. Have you been in there much?"

"Honestly I haven't been by the shop yet" Dwight admitted. "Been meaning to, just haven't made the time yet. Now I have a reason to pop in now and then and see how you are adapting to the island."

"I guess you do," Eliot said languidly, even as he smiled. "Suppose I should return the favor. What is it you do around here again?"

"I got the handyman shop on the other side of the island. Little bit of everything in the fix and clean department. So, if you ever need anything fixe or worked on at your place, let me know. Would be happy to do what I can."

"Anything a minor mending spell won't fix, certainly," Eliot said. And then the airhorn went off. "And I suppose that is our time. Have a good rest of your evening."
