Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm
It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.
CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES
Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!
And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.
"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"
[So much OCD incoming. OCD is up! Date away! A post for Caritas after the dates will go up Saturday!]

Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
She lifted her drink to her mouth. “But if we have three minutes at fucking speed-dating, we might as well pretend we don’t know each other and go old school with twenty questions. Hmm. . .”
They really did serve the good gin.
“Most ridiculous hook-up you’ve ever had?”
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
Quite, quite well. That had been a professional engagement, yes, but the lines blurred enough that Irene thought it counted.
"You?" And Irene was fully expecting her stories to pale here compared to, like, Margo having hooked up with a centaur or something. (Irene would probably hook up with a centaur, she wasn't judging.)
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
She was going to treasure this gossip forever, Irene. Margo hoped you knew that.
“Encanto Oculto,” she said, putting in a real effort to pronounce it properly. “It’s a yearly festival for magicians on Ibiza. Our first year, me and El brought a working bag of dicks as a gift — I know, it was lame — we did a bunch of magical drugs, bent reality, I think I wound up in the middle of an orgy with a bunch of magicians who turned themselves into mermaids, a guy who could rearrange his own genitals any way he liked, and a living art piece that was kinda hard to look at.” She shrugged. “I think. It’s kind of a blur.”
She’d missed Encanto Oculto this year, hadn’t she? Fuck.
“Name one place you’d run off to to retire if you managed to rob a bank right now.”
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
(But -- mermaids. Mermaids did not seem like an ideal orgy participant form? Okay, no, there was a new question. Focus.)
"Money's not an object," she said, stalling a little bit because if there was one place in the whole world she'd go to, it would be London, her London, but that was also the one place she could never go again. But, you know, they had a time limit here, and wistfulness was not becoming, anyway. "But I desperately love Italy. I'd retire and hide myself away in Tuscan villa, emerging only for the occasional red carpet and Parisian weekend trip."
Well, and she was kind of doing that here, too.
"Same question, with the bonus caveat of you have to tell me how you'd rob the bank."
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
“I fuckin’ love Italy too,” Margo said with a happy sigh. She sipped her beverage thoughtfully, running through the options in her head. “Honestly, though, I could do Ibiza for-fuckin’ ever. As for the banks, I’ve already robbed two, and if I told you how, I’d have to kill you.”
Wildly untrue, but a girl had to have her mysteries, right?
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
She also assumed that this was probably a magic thing. Or, at least, she knew that if she had access to magic, she'd probably use it to rob banks.
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
So why not bank robbery?
“Your turn. Most entertaining crime you’ve ever committed that you’re actually willing to admit to.”
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
Irene considered her answer long enough that the airhorn actually went off -- damn -- before answering, "Blackmail. I may have availed myself of some illicit photos of the Duchess, when we were together."
Though the treason was probably a bigger deal.
"And I will see you at the bar for your answer, assuming you've got more than bank robberies up your sleeves or lack thereof," she added, saluting Margo with her martini and pausing to check her watch as she carefully moved to stand. "You get six minutes to think about it." Probably more, but look at her being cute about it.
Re: Round Three: Irene Adler / Margo Hanson
When she turned to go, she threw Irene a smirk over her shoulder — and paused just briefly to sneak a glance at Eliot’s table before she moved on.
