Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"Oh, that's right," Amaya snorted faintly into a grin. "I remember Diaz giving you a hard time about a crossbow being cheating in that class over the summer! But, no, I love a good crossbow. A traditional bow is all fine and dandy, but a crossbow's where things start getting interesting, if you ask me! I'd love to help with what you've got, if you need it! Got a few in the shop already that I've tried to sort of...you know...enhance, make 'em a bit more interesting," spikes, Dwight, she meant she added a lot of spikes and whirly gigs and little gear-related things, "next time you're in, you can check 'em out, see if you're in the market for some upgrades."

Dwight thought back to that poor sword hilt sitting back at the shop form the other day. He gave her a slight smile and nod.

"I'll be sure to keep you in mind if anything comes up. Though will probably just be looking for a few repairs now and then if something breaks that I can't fix. Which, has happened a few times" he admitted reluctantly. Because that was kind of a big deal, the town fixer admitting there were things he couldn't fix himself.

The part of Amaya that considered herself a bit of a somewhat of a sometimes-fixer around here, however, was pleased as punch to hear it. Definitely made her sweat a little bit less.

Not that she ever minded a bit of sweat.

"And I'd have to say," she noted, "if it can't be fixed between the two of us, it's probably a lost cause at that point, anyway!"

"A very good point. I think we have the island pretty well covered- you specializing in the metal working and me focusing on the wood working and with both of us covering general repairs... yeah. I think we have things under control."

Dwight sighed as the signal went off.

"Well on to the last round so far for tonight. Good luck with your last one and thanks for the great chat. I'll be around the bar for a bit tonight after all this is done," he said waving his hand absently in the air.

They really did seem to have something starting here that might work out to be a good partnership between their various business pursuits and all that, didn't they? Amaya had to grin a little to hear it; it'd sort of been a while...

Thankfully, that thought didn't get a chance to wander too far beyond that when the signal went off, and she nodded.

"Almost done!" she sighed in a dramatic fashion, but her expression was amused. "And, yeah, we'll see you around." She tippedher own hand in a wave back. "Hope it's not too much of a doozy!"
