Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"


[So much OCD incoming. OCD is up! Date away! A post for Caritas after the dates will go up Saturday!]

Hannibal sighed. "Good evening, Prompto." It would seem he was destined to be speaking with former students. "How is your evening so far?"

Prompto wondered if his whole evening would be pointing out that his first date with with his sister's dad, but then decided that, you know what? It was only three minutes, it would be fiiiiiine.

"Not bad," he allowed. "Yours? So what have you been up to lately?"

Hannibal gave a tiny grimace. "Remodeling my house after it ended up in a hole. Other than that, it's been an uneventful summer. But while I'm not teaching this term, I understand you are. Have you been enjoying it?"

Admit it, Prompto - you loved all the chocobos.

Yeah, you would not have to twist his arm to admit that, although he was still going to insist that he hadn't been doing it on purpose, because he wasn't!

The smile, though, that came in response, was immediate and made the answer very clear.

"Yeah," he said. "I really have. I'm actually teaching with some friends from home this time around, but I really liked doing my own thing this summer, too. I think I might go back to a photography class in the spring, actually, and it sure beats having to train all the time back home, too!

"That hole thing, though," he added,shaking his head. "Ignis got stuck in that, too, that did not sound fun."

It hadn't really been all that great for him up on the surface, either, having to worry about what the frick had happened to Ignis for most of it!

Hannibal hummed in agreement. "I'd have very much preferred not to be in a hole, although I did at least have my home with me. I should speak more with Ignis about food some day. But I'm pleased you're enjoying the experience. What does your class actually involve?"

He wasn't really clear on the whole "chocobro" thing.

Prompto was just going to take a moment to amuse himself with the idea of Dr. Lecter and Ignis getting together and talking about food, which would not only be kind of hilarious but also probably be a good remedy for insomnia after too long!

"It's suppposed to have been a teamwork thing," he then said, with a long suffering sigh and a shake of his head. "But the Danger Shop's been acting funny, and it keeps just giving us chobobos! I'm pretty sure the moose is involved, I hear he does stuff like change people's classes on them, but, I mean, I love chocobos, so it's kind of been low-key great, but it's also a little frustrating not knowing what we're going to get each week, you know?"

Although by now he should have figured out that he knew exactly what they were getting each week, and that thing was more chocobos.

Excuse you, Prompto, Hannibal and Ignis talking food would be delightful.

"I suppose at least it teaches you and your students to learn to deal with Fandom's peculiarities," Hannibal suggested.
