Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"


[So much OCD incoming. OCD is up! Date away! A post for Caritas after the dates will go up Saturday!]

"The mask tends to stand out," Stark agreed. He'd stand out more without it though. "I suppose it makes me easy to find if needed."

Stark considered that, then shook his head. "Not that often. And anyone who would would already know who I was, I think. But it's a small island. We nearly all know each other. Although I don't know you, yet."

"I should hope not," Eliot said. "Since I don't know you. Let's see. . . . I'm a magician, classically trained, though as far as I can tell that doesn't mean much around here. I'm the High King of Fillory, which likely means even less, and I've recently been employed to work at the local magic shop." He spread his hands. "And yourself?"

"I've heard of Fillory," Stark said, trying to remember why. "Oh. From the woman with the bunnies." And the eyepatch but the bunnies were a less impolite thing to mention, weren't they?

"I'm a Stykera," he offered. "Not from Earth. I work at the school, sometimes. And the clinic, sometimes."

"You've met Margo! The bunnies were, uh, mine. An attempt to locate her. Which . . . worked, I guess. . . ."

He shook his head. "Fillory's not Earth, either. Tell me about where Stykera come from."

"Space," Stark said, gesturing vaguely upward. "Where I was last was the Uncharted Territories. Not quite this galaxy."

"Space," Eliot echoed, caught off guard. "Like . . . all of it?"

"Not all of it. I was on a ship, before I was here. We traveled."

"Hence 'space' instead of 'planet,'" Eliot said slowly. "So . . . tell me about your ship."

"Moya," Stark said fondly. "She's a Leviathan. A living ship. She was home, for a time."

"A Leviathan? Really?" Eliot tilted his head. "I think I've actually heard of those. . . ."

But before he could dig any deeper, the airhorn went off.

"Well. It was very nice to meet you, Stark."
