Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"I hear cats do that," Annie noted. "I've only had to take care of my boyfriend as one, briefly. He mostly slept on my stuff."

He'd been a black cat and Annie owned a lot of white clothes, so.

"Issa does that too," Seivarden said. "And I have to keep my gloves in drawers or she decides they're prey.

She smiled. "So, work and family?"

"Oh, I have a music video coming out soon," Annie shared. "It's gonna be bad. And Diego's had some stuff going on with his family so we've been out of town a lot."

Dead parents and apocalyptic sisters seemed like a bad date conversation? Maybe?

Oh, Seivarden was going to end up talking about her dead sister later this evening.

"Bad?"

She raised an eyebrow.

"It's a power ballad, if you're at all, like, familiar with the music of this planet," Annie offered, looking pained. "About a teammate of mine who died and it's, like, a song in memorium? But it's in very bad taste. And I look terrible, Seivarden. Like, my hair."

She gestured a good four inches above her head. "It's a very tall wig."

There were other costuming issues but the wig was the only one she'd address at this time.

"Who picked the wig?" Seivarden, who had no idea what a power ballad was, asked.

"My costuming department," Annie replied with a sad sigh. "I'm also wearing really tall boots so I'm like, a giant."

It was sort of flattering in a pop-star kind of way. But not a very Annie way.

And then the bell rang, just when Seivarden was going to ask to see a photo, mostly to be polite.

"It sounds like you need a better costuming department," she said with a smile. "Nice talking to you again, Annie."
