Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"Been good. Staying busy with the shop and all. Trying to bribe the damned squirrels to give me a few minutes peace and to stop spying on me everywhere I go." He sighed and shook his head. "Though I think it's pointless because I'm pretty sure I saw a couple of them at the bar earlier tonight."

"If you give them rum," Stark said, "usually they'll leave for a little while. I don't think anyone's discovered anything that lasts longer, yet."

"Will have to try that next time, thanks. Guess you have had a bit of experience with the fluffy-tailed vermin? Course that would make sense since you have been here a lot longer than I have."

Yes Dwight, you were still very much in the noob category still!

"I've been here this time over a year. Years before that. I'm used to the squirrels. Not used to everything here, some of it's always a surprise. But the squirrels are very familiar."

"Well glad you made it back. Comforting to know its possible to make your way back to the island if you leave. Though.... not sure I will ever be making a trip back to Haven anytime soon. The island is becoming more of a home than I honestly thought it would. It's a good place with good people" Dwight said with a smile as he raised his nearly empty bottle slightly towards Stark and took a quick drink.

"I came back twice," Stark confirmed. "This time, and once before. People get stuck here more often than stuck not here, I think."

He paused for a moment before continuing. "This is home, for now. Nowhere else I'd rather be."

"Well being stuck somewhere you actually don't mind is a good thing" Dwight agreed with a nod. "Better than the alternative at least."

"Better not to be trapped anywhere. But I wouldn't mind having to stay here. I plan on staying in any case."

Stark didn't even have any intention of traveling anytime soon. He'd done enough of that this week.

"As you said, it's a good place with good people."

Dwight nodded as the airhorn went off. "I'm glad to have you as an island neighbor. Have a good night with your real date" he added with a knowing grin as he stood and nodded his head towards Faye at the bar.
