Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday before 8:15 pm

It was that time agaaaaaain! There was a sign on the door and a banner above the stage.

CARITAS PRESENTS
THREE MINUTE DATES

Or maybe, perchance, you totally missed it somehow, and didn't run from the bar before Tino could sign you up for dates. It happens!

And then a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage under the banner, to a drumroll from the zombie drummer.

"Hello and welcome to another installment of Three Minute Dates!" Kitty began. "In case you're new to this, in a couple minutes I'm going to call out sets of names. You'll find that person, talk to them for a whole three minutes. When you hear this siren-" Oh, that was an obnoxious air horn sound. "-you'll get a new person to talk to. If you got sucked into this without your knowledge, sorry, and also it's fifteen minutes of your life, make some new friends!"

"It's neutral, except that I feel bad for anyone who was, like, actually looking forward to going on a date with me," Annie said, shrugging. "But like at least I get to hang out with you and heard about Seivarden's cat, so there's worse ways to spend fifteen minutes?"

"All right, so what can we talk about in maybe a minute and a half?" Rey asked. "I can't compete with cat talk."

Annie thought about it for a moment before offering, "Do you feel like you'll be up for another birthday party in a couple weeks, or are you, like, partied out after woo-girling? 'Cause it's Diego and Five's birthday on the first and I'm doing a thing."

At least she was aware enough to make it I'm rather than we're considering that this was very much a thing that was going to be happening to these guys.

And look, her conversation topics these days, at least as far as light stuff went, was birthday party and Never Truly Vanish, and everyone was gonna have to see that Dolly Parton hair soon enough.

"I can be up for something in two weeks," Rey said. "I just won't be crazy."

Even at Christmas she had not been crazy.

"Anything you need help with?"

"I should be good -- since Five is gonna be there, there might be kids from the school?" Annie noted, which right away meant it could not and would not be like Christmas. Annie would not do a keg stand in front of any of her former students, thank you. "So it should be relatively chill. Diego's gonna be thirty, Five is gonna be...I think fifty-seven? Maybe?"

But also maybe fourteen?

Look how good she was at not calling her a mannequin.

"Yes," Annie agreed, right as the airhorn sounded, "but they...I guess they broke up?"

Annie had not really asked about Dolores whereabouts so much as she'd just appreciated not seeing a legless mannequin on her couch for the past week and a half.
