Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

"If I told you that, you'd be expecting it," he said. "And we can't have that."

"Aw, you're no fun," Angela told him with a smirk.

"And you realise now I'll have to dress you in ruffles to find out?"

"If you were planning revenge on me, would you tell me what it was?" he asked.

"If I were planning revenge for something you hadn't yet done, and wanted to put you off doing it at all... maybe," she said smiling up at him.

"Liar," he chided. "That would take the fun right out of the revenge plan."

"Okay, so maybe I'd tell you a revenge plan, but use a completely different one," she said after a moment.

"Trickery," he said, grinning. "Nice tactic. One I didn't even think of."

"Told you I can be sneaky," she said smugly.

"I never doubted it," he pointed out. "I don't doubt you, Angela."

"Should hope not," Angela said, smiling up at him. "I'd be disappointed if I thought you did."

"Got any plans for tomorrow?" he asked curiously.

"Mm, no," Angela replied with a shake of her head. "It's looking like a quiet one."

"You?" she returned.

"Pretty much the same," he said and shrugged. "I signed up for that thing at Caritas, the 3 Minute Dates for fun but that's about it."

"I thought about that, but--" She shrugged. "Maybe next time."

"It sounded like a fun night," he said and shrugged too. "One of those...just for fun things."

"Sounds it," Angela said with a nod.

"And you never can tell, three minutes and you might find the girl, or guy, of your dreams," she joked.

"Unlikely," he said and shook his head. "Very unlikely. But, you know, might find a friend or something."

"And the more of those the better," she agreed, smiling at him. A little bit happier hearing him say that? Maybe.

"Exactly!" Hannibal said, nodding. "I mean, the more people to be able to bail me out of jail, the better."

"I hear trying not to end up getting arrested also works really well," Angela laughed.

"Yeah, but you know, sometimes things just happen." On purpose. The big troublemaker.

"Well, I hear one day I might end up sorta working in law enforcement," she said with a smirk. "You never know, I might have some pull."

Or, some friends with pull, certainly.

"Like a cop?" Hannibal asked.

"More sorta than that," she said. "Forensic artist. Which sounds both awesome, and really kind of creepy."

"I didn't know they had artists for that sort of thing," he admitted. "Drawing dead people?"
