Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

Ichigo wasn't whipped, not at all. He just considered it one of his duties to accompany Ino to a dance. At least, that was some kind of version of what he was telling himself. Honestly, he had no idea what he was telling himself. Just that he was there, wearing his white suite and with a pretty girl by his side. It wasn't a bad way to go to a dance.

"This is the weirdest combination," he mumbled when he noticed the decorations.

She grinned up at him, in her dress and cute little earrings in her ears. "What, you were expecting something normal? At Fandom?"

"I was just expecting annoying red hearts everywhere," he said honestly.

She snickered.

"Last year," Ino said, beaming at the place, "it was a masquerade. It was totally awesome."

He looked back at her, studying her as if he was imagining what she'd wear. "Did you rob someone afterwards?" he teased.

"No," she said, making a face at him. "Kabuto stole my ribbon."

He opened his mouth to point out that was just because the guy was a jerk, but quickly shut it before he could. He obstinately looked around the room. "Do you want to get something to drink first?"

She went up on tip toes and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. "Sure," Ino murmured. "We can go get a drink."

Ichigo blinked at the kiss, but he relaxed as he reached for her hand. "You do look pretty like this."

He was being nice, she could be nice back. Ino closed her fingers around his hand.

"Thank you," Ino said, smiling. "You're looking pretty good too."

"As long as I'm not looking pretty," he wrinkled his nose at her and started to move further into the room.

She just grinned, and followed after him. "And what if I said that?" Ino teased.

"You get to dance alone," he told her, steering them towards the table with drinks.

"Hardly," she sniffed. "If not you, I could totally talk other people into dancing."

It sounded ridiculous to ask if she wouldn't miss dancing with him, not matter what the dance theme was. "And I'll just hand you drinks?"

He considered it for a moment. "I don't mind," he finally allowed. "What would you like to drink?"

"Okay, hang on," he moved off towards the end of the table where the punch was kept. He first made sure it wasn't smelling like alcohol before he poured them two glasses and returned to Ino.

"Punch," he offered, holding out the glass.

She took the glass, giggling. "Why were you smelling it?"

"In case someone spiked it?" he said, not in favour of alcohol. He was a minor after all.

"What's wrong with spiking it?"

Ino... well... had no problems with it.
