Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

Chuck burst out laughing. "Okay, now you really are embarrassing yourself."

"Yeah, I just made a spectacle over fucking cookies," he said and joined Chuck in laughter. "They'd better at least been good!"

"I was stoned off my ass, fuck yeah they were good," he said.

"You are going to kill your brain cells," Hannibal said and gave Chuck's head a little tap.

Chuck rolled his eyes. "Don't lecture me. Makes you sound like Sam."

"But not as hot, right?" he teased, grinning.

"Oh yeah, that floppy hair of his does things to me," Chuck said flatly.

"But I've got the six pack abs," he said, grinning at the change in Chuck's tone. "Touchy touchy. Recognize a tease, Chuck."

"I'm quite aware that you're a tease," Chuck replied.

"I am a fan of anticipation," he said. "The higher it goes, the more fun the payoff is."

"Yeah, just make sure you get to the payoff at some point," Chuck said.

"Have I ever not gotten to the pay off with you before?" he asked.

"There's a first time for everything," Chuck said even though, no, he didn't really think that would happen.

"You're almost asking me to leave you unfulfilled," Hannibal pointed out.

"I was kidding," Chuck said, smirking. "Learn to recognize a tease, Hannibal."

"Learn to recognize a hand coming at your head," Hannibal said and swatted at him.

"Such violence," Chuck said, shifting away. "And right before Valentine's Day too. Someone's not in the holiday spirit."

"You make me sound like Cupid or something," he said. "I am not wearing a loincloth and shooting people with arrows just to get into the spirit."

"Great, now I've got that horrifying picture burned into my skull," Chuck said, shaking his head. "Thanks so much."

"I wouldn't be a hot Cupid?" Hannibal asked, even posing a bit.

"Guys in loincloths aren't one of my kinks, sorry," he said. "Stick with the suit."

"You like the suit, huh?" he asked and tugged on the jacket.

"I do," he said, trying to play off how much he liked it. "It looks good on you."

"If I'd have known you liked it so much, I'd have shown up at your door one day with a suit on and stripped it off," he said.

Chuck smirked. "I would prefer to take it off you myself."
