Even with the sun out, it was still fairly chilly on the causeway, creating a brisk reminder of what everyone would be leaving behind for the next week as they traveled through the Caribbean.

As the students, teachers, and guests gathered to wait for the portal to Florida, everyone was given a copy of their lodging information and a trip itinerary to peruse:

Eastern Caribbean Cruise Itinerary (7 Days)
Sunday: Portal to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (Ship departs 5:00PM)
Monday: Princess Cays, Bahamas (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Tuesday: At Sea
Wednesday: St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Thursday: St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Friday: Grand Turk (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Saturday: At Sea
Sunday: Portal back from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (Portal opens 7AM)

John looked Gavin over. "I might have to try hard not to."

"Not on your life," Gavin said, catching that look. "I'm stronger than I look and I'll knee you in your junk again if I have to."

John laughed, "We might need a truce for the duration."

"I think I can do that," he said and stuck out his hand. "Truce. No fighting unless we're on the same side."

"We should work on finding someone to unite against," John reasoned. "Someone who can't Force choke us." Clarifications were good.

"Yeah, that hovering off the ground was no fun," Gavin said, nodding. "There's gotta be someone we can use our powers combined against. Even if it's some nerd cruise boy."

"Yeah, or like Lois. She'd be fun to prank on," John said, thinking. "Of course, she'd probably kick our asses."

"Think should get to the both of us?" he asked thoughtfully.

"Hey, we stand together," John reminded him. "But no...probably not." This should not seem like a good idea.

"Maybe we could mess with her and frame someone else?" Gavin suggested.

"Hmm, we'll have to keep an eye out for an easy mark."

"And she couldn't stay mad for long," Gavin said, still thinking about. "And there have got to be a lot of places to hide on a boat."

"And it's not like we aren't fast runners," John considered. "And the cabins should have locks..."

"Exactly!" Gavin said. "And, if anything, we can swim for it..."

"True! Plenty of water for that," John agreed. "Also, playing dumb. It goes a long way."

"And we're cute," Gavin said. "That helps, right?"

"We are. Our charm can get us out of anything that doesn't involve Professor Skywalker," John decided.

"Well, that guy lives to give people detention," Gavin decided. "It's a hobby."

"And he's predisposed to hate me," John added. "You know he was almost encouraging bordering on nice until I started dating his granddaughter."

"Yeah, but I think that'd be any family member's right," Gavin pointed out. "You just picked the granddaughter of a really scary man."

"Yeah, I never go the easy route, that's for sure," John admitted.

"Gotta keep your life interesting somehow, right?" Gavin asked.

"I don't think anyone could call me boring," John grinned. "I'm pretty sure we've got that in common."

"Is he going on this cruise?" Gavin asked. "Professor Skywalker, I mean."

John blinked. Horror.

He ripped out his paperwork and scanned quickly for names, face falling when he found the list of chaperones. "Dammit."
